A promising commission brings a music video director to an artist’s secluded studio. The client wants praise for his work but has little interest in paying for someone else’s. When the director tries to leave, the meeting takes a darker turn. Artistic ego and a bad business proposition become the setup for this horror comedy.

our second zaqsal film went to the woods
a bigger crew and a longer shoot
also a lot of aircraft overhead
the location sound wouldn’t carry it
we rebuilt the sound in the studio and rerecorded the dialogue
i hadn’t replaced that much sound before
i worked on it again before the cinema screening
i learned a lot from this one
i wanted that green in my portraits too
cherryjavelin photographed me among the trees in the river park
a small connection to that year’s film
those details matter to me
