Geryah Dingle draws on places she has traveled for “Wonderer (You Stayed with Me).” Its road-trip imagery carries a Christian account of moving through uncertainty with Christ present.

loose leaves
after “starting over” she came back with this song
i loved what she had written
its faith isn’t mine but i wanted to take it seriously
we prayed before tracking
i wanted to be part of that moment
later i asked a fellow mixer for another pair of ears
he had a note about the background vocals
i changed them after we talked
it was a small detail worth getting right
