loose leaves
this came in just before a trip to jeju
i recorded isaac’s bass guitar
the chords kept looping i wanted the bass to keep them moving
we tried approach notes and inversions small changes in the bass line
the same chords could feel different with something else underneath
i didn’t want us getting carried away the bass still had to serve the song
isaac liked where we landed too
i asked him to lunch after tracking but he was busy
