Geryah Dingle first wrote “Starting Over” in 2011 and returned to it a decade later with producer Steve Kinney. The finished country ballad places her Christian songwriting inside a layered vocal arrangement. Doubles and ad-libs expand the lead without changing the song’s focus on beginning again.
