ji-hye and i got closer at a musicians’ whiskey gathering
i hosted with ji-hye, a fellow mixer, and an a&r colleague
everyone had to bring a bottle and work in or around music
i remember 23 bottles
i made a slideshow and gave a whiskey 101 presentation
i brought jasmine and she brought a bottle from japan
ji-hye loved “devil eyes”
she wanted it for this film
it was made for the masterpiece
i handle music and sound at zaqsal films
i checked with our director he was happy for us to use the song
then ji-hye handled its use in the film
it opens the film and plays through a car stereo
then it comes back for the end credits
