Jung Yuna’s three-track single Lullaby sketches a larger album through its running order. “Tundra” opens without a voice. “City of February” brings isolation into the streets and “Lullaby” turns the promise of comfort into something more threatening.
The instruments change with that progression. Piano leads the opening piece. Harpsichord and Hammond organ sit inside “City of February” before electric guitar and bass join the final track. The release gives a first outline of the story without explaining it all at once.

we built a world around her and put her at the center
i thought about the three tracks as parts of one story
“tundra” and “city of february” are connected
for “lullaby” i wanted her airy voice inside the guitars
you should feel it there without it sitting in front of everything
heavy guitars drums that still hit hard
we didn’t need a lot of instruments each part already carried weight
the synthesizers had to belong there too
i kept mixing toward that feeling even when the balance was unusual
