CASETiFY Cube

late in 2019 i went to my friends’ wedding in bangkok

both were close friends from high school

i saw another high school friend there for the first time since graduation

more than eight years had gone by

she remembered i made music and asked if i still did

i said yes

later she called about a project that needed music

that was how this work began

i made the music and sound for the cube’s visuals

i remember four chapters playing through twice

i worked on the transitions so the whole piece could loop smoothly

she and the team liked it

we hadn’t been that close in high school

working together brought us closer we still work together now

my best friend in chicago and his wife were part of it too

she recorded the welcome voice

“welcome to casetify cube”

he loves jojo i thought of him on that project later

i still see my friend who got married too
